Create your own pet rock station, learn the basics of rock painting (it's more than it looks like) and decorate your own pet rock to take home! $5 per pet rock.

Rockhounding Trip - FREE & Family Friendly Friday March 15th!
Go out rock collecting with Utah Rock Collectors Friday March 15th and find Beautiful Petrified Wood! This family friendly rock hounding trip is free and you can learn the basics of rock collecting! We love to educate rock enthusiasts about the laws, ethics, and safety of rock collecting while we spend time out in the field hunting for treasure!

About the trip: We will be hiking the foothills of the Vermillion Cliffs looking for petrified wood. Some dirt road driving, but roads are good and high clearance vehicles are not required.
