About Larimar:
Larimar is a rare blue variety of pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, prized for its ocean-like patterns and soothing sky-blue color. It forms in volcanic cavities where hot, mineral-rich fluids cool and crystallize, creating its unique swirling blues and whites. Mining Larimar is done by hand in narrow mountain tunnels, where miners carefully extract the stone from basaltic rock to preserve each piece’s natural beauty. Metaphysically, Larimar is known as the Stone of Serenity, believed to calm emotions, promote clear communication, inspire peace, and connect its wearer to the gentle energy of the sea.
