The legend of a worry stone: There are multiple legends surrounding worry stones. One such legend says There once was a stone that was so worry-free, that it became known as the worry stone. People would come from far and wide to touch this magical stone, in hopes of transferring some of its serenity onto their own troubled minds. Another legend suggests that carrying a stone and rubbing it when worried will lower blood pressure and assist in concentration, once you rub a hole all the way through your worry stone your worries will forever be gone.
