About Hackmanite:
Hackmanite forms in silica-poor, alkaline igneous rocks and metamorphic environments as a variety of sodalite, developing when sodium-rich conditions allow its unique crystal structure to grow. It is considered rare because high-quality hackmanite with strong color change (tenebrescence) is found in only a few locations worldwide, including Greenland, Afghanistan, and Canada. In metaphysical traditions, hackmanite is associated with truth, self-expression, adaptability, and transformation, symbolizing the ability to change while remaining authentic—much like its shifting color in different light.
