Get ready for one of the most exciting family events of the spring! The Crystal Festival – A Rocks, Minerals, Gems, & Crystal Show is coming to the Mt Pleasant Recreation Center (10 State St, Mt Pleasant, UT 84647) on April 4th & 5th, 2026, and it promises a weekend packed with discovery, creativity, community, and sparkling fun. Open from 10am to 8pm both days, this vibrant event offers free admission and free parking, making it the perfect family outing!
This year’s festival is extra special as it serves as a fundraiser supporting the Fountain Green Elementary School Science Department, helping inspire the next generation of scientists, rockhounds, and dreamers. Guests can shop from over a dozen vendors featuring fine minerals, display fossils, rare collector specimens, handmade jewelry, lapidary art, and unique crystal gifts. Meet passionate mine owners, mineralogists, geologists, crystal healers, and artists, and even sign up for exciting rockhounding adventures throughout the region.
Families will love the fun, hands-on Kid’s Corner activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Activities are individually priced, or children can enjoy all Kid’s Corner experiences for just $20 per child. Kids can join the exciting Easter Egg Hunt for $10, build their own rock and mineral discovery kits for $20, or paint and decorate pet rocks for $5. Be sure to pick up the children’s book Addy’s Adventures: Rock Collecting by Crystal Festival owner and director Adrienne McElwain, and explore over a dozen unique vendors throughout the show.
Presented by Crystal Barista, this exciting event is all about bringing the community together through a shared love of rocks, minerals, and creativity. Guests will enjoy meeting and shopping with amazing vendors and groups such as Wishing Forest, Rock-N-Fossil, Rock On Minerals, Konstanz Silverbow, the new Stampede Rock and Gem Club, Mount Pleasant’s own LoveRocks, Girl Scout Troop 1400, and many more passionate rockhounds and makers. Whether you’re a seasoned collector, a jewelry artist, a curious beginner, or a family searching for a fun and memorable weekend adventure, you’ll discover inspiration, connection, and plenty of sparkling treasures to take home.
