About Dragon's Blood:
When the same stone is found in a new location it is often given a new name. Either because the person who has discovered it does not know it currently has an assigned name, or because they are marketing it specifically from that location and want it to stand out. Dragon's Blood is simply the name given to Bloodstone that comes from Australia. It still has all the same features and properties of Bloodstone from Brazil or India but is much less common and is not mass mined.
About Bloodstone:
Did you know that in Ancient Egypt what they called Bloodstone is now called Hematite? The Ancient Egyptians referred to Hematite as Bloodstone because during a stream test it streaks red and got the name “the stone that bleeds” or “bloodstone”. Bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, is a striking green gemstone speckled with red spots that resemble drops of blood, giving it its name. It has been revered throughout history for its protective and healing properties, symbolizing courage, strength, and vitality. In metaphysical practices, bloodstone is believed to promote emotional balance, enhance decision-making, and stimulate the root chakra, grounding and revitalizing energy. It is often used in meditation and energy work to cleanse negative energies and encourage selflessness. Beyond its spiritual significance, bloodstone is popular in jewelry for its unique appearance and is often used as an amulet for protection against harm and negativity. #crystals #crystalshop #crystalbarista #crystalhealing #crystal
