Magnetite: Magnetite is a metallic mineral, and is one of the main Iron ores. Magnetite will attract a magnet and can be magnetized to become a permanent magnet. Natural Magnetite is also called loadstone, although the term loadstone usually refers to massive non-crystalized Magnetite. Magnetite has a hardness of 5 to 6.5 on the Moh's hardness scale and is commercially mined as an Iron ore.
Apatite: Apatite is a phosphate mineral that is has a wide range of greens, yellows, teal, and brown. Olivine green Apatite crystals are found in Utah, while Neon Apatite, which is bright teal to blue-green, is found in Madagascar, Myanmar, and India. Apatite has a hardness of 5 on the Moh's hardness and is commercially mined for its use in fertilizers.
Mineral Specimens: Collector and fine mineral specimens are specimens cleaned, and ready to display. These specimens are not used for their commercial uses and are fine examples of the mineral or minerals being represented. Mineral specimens illustrate crystal formations and are collected for their natural beauty.
